Operations
USER GUIDE
1. Operation
-
Plug in the mains power supply.
-
Connect the cable to your Skini™ epilator
-
The button on the back should flash green.
-
Press this green button to turn on the unit (when it is turned on, the unit starts to ventilate).
-
A small blue gauge located at the front indicates the intensity level of the pulsed light.
-
To increase the intensity, simply press successively the green button situated on the back of the unit. By doing this, you will see that the blue gauge fills up.
-
Then simply apply Skini™ on the desired area, and press the central button to send a flash.
-
Once your session is over, simply press and hold the green button to turn off the device.
-
You can then unplug it.
Follow these instructions carefully to increase the lifespan of your epilator.
2.Warning
Before a session
-
Avoid sun exposure for 6 weeks before a session (you are allowed to go out but not to tan).
-
No self-tanner.
-
No waxing (the hair root must always be present under the skin).
-
It is recommended to shave up to 48 hours before the session to shorten the hair.
During your sessions
-
Protect "at risk" areas: moles, tattoos, scars.
After a session
-
No tanning up to 4/5 days after using the product (you can go out, but you have to avoid long exposures).
-
No self-tanner.
-
Wait about 1 week between each session (you can shave in the meantime, but no waxing).
3. Is Skini suitable for me?
-
If you have fair skin and dark hair you are the perfect candidate for our pulsed light hair removal device!
-
Not suitable if your hair is blond or red!
-
If your skin is darker, you don’t have to worry, you will need to do a few more sessions to achieve the same result.
